Banjo-Kazooie

$27.99

n64gm064 - Developed by Rare, Ltd. and Published by Nintendo of America Inc., "Banjo Kazooie" was released for the Nintendo 64 (N64) system on May 31, 1998. Banjo Kazooie is a classic action adventure platformer game in the vein of Super Mario 64. You play Banjo, a honey bear that must find his sister Tooty, who has been kidnapped by a self-absorbed, ugly witch named Gruntilda. The story is a simple one, but a great one when done as well as this one is. Reminiscent of the Snow White tale, this witch asks her magical cauldron who is the fairest of them all. Of course, she doesn't like the answer and kidnaps Tooty. When Banjo finds her missing, he and a red sea gull named Kazooie set out to find her. Strategy is included here because Banjo and Kazooie have different skills and abilities, and you so switching to the right Character to get a job done is paramount. In their quest, Banjo and Kazooie will travel through 10 different worlds, but they will need to find certain puzzle pieces (jiggies) and musical notes in order to unlock the doors to those worlds. As for the gameplay and setting itself, this is a well-made and easy to grasp game in a stunning setting. The worlds are simply enormous, with plenty of useful items to collect to complete this adventure. The controls for Banjo Kazooie are very easy to work with and will never really give you any difficulty. The Graphics in this game are some of my all time favorites. This is definitely a great adventure game, one of the best platformers for the Nintendo 64, worth keeping your old N64 system for. If you were a fan of Mario 64, then it's pretty apparent that you're going to like Banjo-Kazooie as well. In the early days, "Dream" was its working title, which was changed to "Banjo Kazoo," and because of copyright issues was finally changed to Banjo-Kazooie. In Japan this game is known as "Banjo to Kazooie no Daibouken."
