- N64GM051 - Developed and published by Capcom Inc., this is a new, factory sealed complete "Mega Man 64," which was released for the Nintendo 64 game system on January 16, 2001. Mega Man 64 is a port of the 1998 Playstation game, "MegaMan Legends". The storyline is that Mega Man is a space traveler who finds himself on a planet that is almost completely covered with water. He has crash landed on a remote island, among various small islands that dot this world. These various small islands on this world hold great treasures. And where there is treasure, you will usually find treasure hunters. And these islands are no exception. The treasure seekers are called Diggers, and they exist for the action and thrill of treasure hunting. They have heard tell of the mother load, and are excited to search for this great bounty. Mega man becomes a Digger and joins in on the search of underground structures for treasure, and large crystals called "refractors". But where there are treasure hunters, there are usually pirates as well. And our hero Mega Man soon comes across a pirate family known as the Bonnes. When Mega man 64 plays underground, there can be a great deal of combat involved, so your weapon is essential. And you can upgrade your main weapon by interchanging the three various parts. When you play in the overworld, there is a very large town to explore. There you will also find different doorways into the underground area. The people who live on the island are essential for you to talk to, as they have useful information, and your interaction with them can bring special items. As the Mega Man 64 game progresses, our hero Mega man soon begins to understand the ancient mystery surrounding the planet. And in searching and earning money and finding parts and items, Mega Man will become more powerful. Mega Man 64 has quite a lot of secondary quests that you can perform also, and the boss fights are exciting and keeps your interest. The gameplay is actually very good, and the controls are as close to perfect as these games get. Though the game is a port, the graphics are upgraded and much better than the old playstation version. Mega man 64 is not a bad game to add to your N64 collection. In some gaming circles this game is known as MML or MM64, and in Japan the game is called "Rockman Dash". Pre-owned.
