007: Nightfire

$14.99

GCG0072 - Developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software, Savage Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, Inc., "007: Nightfire" was released on November 19, 2002. This bond game has been called the GoldenEye of gamecube, because it is a little different than the others that followed the N64 classic. It has restored the interesting storyline and the classic cool 007 moves. You play the role of James Bond, and the game begins in classic Bond movie fashion, with an sharp action sequence that also serves as a nice little tutorial. The scenario of the game is that Ralph Drake, the CEO of a multi-national corporation known as Phoenix International, is publicly dismantling nuclear warheads, while privately he intends to overtake an orbital missile defense platform. It is up to 007 to uncover his secret plot and thwart his evil plan. The game is vast, with more than ten exciting areas located all over the world, where you will of course be confronting the beautiful Bond women. With the help of Q and his gadgets, James bond is well equipped with such items as his Ray beam watch and X-ray vision glasses. And there are a variety of nice weapons at his disposal, all designed really well and look fantastic. With a total of twelve missions that combine combat and stealth, and five levels that take place in your Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, and other exotic sports cars, the action never stops. And if that wasn't enough, the game has very intuitive tight controls, which is very important in a simi-shooter. The graphics and sound are top notch, what you would expect from a Bond game. particularly the gun sounds are outstanding and realistic. And another nice touch is that there are over ten multiplayer modes, in which you will come across some characters and settings from previous Bond movies. As a Bond game, NightFire successfully re-creates the action, stealth, style and presentation of our hero. Overall, this game is a really good game that grows on you. If you have played and liked Goldeneye, you should really enjoy this game. It is also known as "James Bond 007: Nightfire." Pre-owned. Rated T. Includes case, disk and instruction manual - Plays on Gamecube or Wii - Rarity Rating C+
