n64gm003 - Developed by HAL Laboratory, Inc. and published by Nintendo of America Inc., "Super Smash Bros." was released on April 27, 1999 for the Nintendo 64 gaming system. The legendary game series of Super Smash Bros. started with this brilliant rare "instant classic," and is even today one of the best fighter games available for any platform. Super Smash Brothers genius is in it's innovative taking all of the familiar top Nintendo characters, and tossing them into one great challenging fighting "duel to the end" that is "just plain fun! To start the game there are eight characters to choose from, each with his own special move. they are Mario, Link, Samus, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Fox, Kirby and Pikachu. And the four more hidden characters that you can unlock are Jigglypuff, Luigi, Ness and C. Falcon. The characters have 8 fully-interactive landscapes liked to their games. Control is excellent and the many different moves are executed based upon how firmly you press the analog stick. The characters in Super Smash Bros. are rendered in 3-D and the music is remixes of the great nostalgic soundtracks from games such as mario bros and legend of zelda. The single player mode has 14 stages that you have to battle in, and as for multiplayer, this is without a doubt "thee best" multiplayer game ever for the Nintendo 64. Up to 4 players can do battle at once, with either team play or all-against-all action. As far as gameplay is concerned, Super Smash Bros. is a fighter game that is easy enough for even the novice gamer to pick up, and yet it is challenging enough with multiplayer action to keep even sage gamers interested. Because it takes a little bit of time to learn the many different moves (and should) to become an expert. Super Smash Bros. is Old school gaming at its best. So if you've got a group of friends who want to pick a Nintendo character and throw down on a highly addictive fighter game, then Super Smash Bros. is for you! Super Smash Brothers is also known as Super Smash Brothers and abbreviated as "SSB" for the Nintendo 64. Pre-owned. Includes game cartridge only. Rarity Rating B- Super Smash Bros.
