n64gm173 - Developed by Iguana Entertainment, Inc. and Published by Acclaim Entertainment, Inc., "WWF Attitude" was released for the Nintendo 64 (N64) Entertainment System on August 31, 1999. WWF Attitude is a 3rd-Person Perspective game that is a follow-up to WWF War Zone. You play as one of over thirty World Wrestling Federation wrestlers, and they have their varying wrestling styles. You can create your own "pay-per-view" event or your own wrestler in this expansive fight through the WWF line of brawlers. This game is nearly indentical to the playstation version except that it has an extra mode that the playstation doesn't accommodate. And one of the best improvements to this series of games is the roster, which has been upgraded to reflect the changing face of the World Wrestling Federation lineup. There are a variety of game modes and specialty matches, such as Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, Tornado matches, and others. WWF Attitude for the N64 also includes the option to customize arenas, editing the color of lights, ropes or logos. In Exhibition mode, you play one match only in any style: Tag Team, One-on-One, Lumberjack, Gauntlet, Tornado, or one of the many other styles available. Career mode allows you to challenge players and move up in the league's rankings, facing off against the world's best in house matches or televised events. In King of the Ring, you'll battle with up to eight different wrestlers at once in an effort to be the last man standing. In the Pay Per View mode you set up your own television event, you set the matches, create the venue and you name the event. What I particularly like about WWF Attitude for Nintendo 64 is that up to four players can fight it out in four different modes and it allows you to create any fighter you want and prove him in battle against the championship wrestlers such as stone cold austin, Triple H, and Kane in the ring.
The sound track is great and Billy Gunn and Road Dogg recorded entire voice clips for their ring introductions. The music sets this game apart, as it simply rocks. From Stone Cold's historic glass breaking musical intro, to the ring-rocking guitar riffs of Degeneration-X, it's all good. As far as the graphics goes, in 1999 WWF Warzone was the most impressive wrestling title, and W.W.F. Attitude just blew it clean out of the water. Very well done and outstanding design. Make no mistake, W. W. F. comes with attitude and is more solid in the gameplay department than its predecessor. I recommend this as a Wrestling classic and a good addition to any N64 game collection. Pre-owned - Includes Game Only, no manual or instructions are included.
