Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions

$10.99

SGM0029 - Developed by ICOM Simulations, Inc. and published by Sunsoft of America, "Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions" was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in October of 1993. Based on Duck Dodgers in the 24 and 1/2 Century, Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions takes the alter ego of the Chuck Jones' character, Daffy Duck and uses him as hero to save the day. Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions is a standard platformer which also allows you to use a variety of weapons and even fly using a jet-pack in your mission. The scenario of this game is that the dastardly and relentless Marvin the martian is at it again, as he has a P-38 Space Modulator and intends to destroy the whole solar system. There is only one way for Daffy Duck to stop Marvin, and that is to destroy all five of his deadly and destructive machines. As daffy, you must battle through 20 levels against an enemy that includes martians and needle-firing cactus, and ultimately Marvin. You battle your way through five missions of outer space adventure, using various weapons such as the blaster, the bomb, freeze and antimatter among others. When you defeat an enemy, he loses his money, and you can use it to purchase special guns. The animation-cartoon graphics are simply amazing, with the Looney Tunes characters well represented and their voices digitized. And Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions ably captures the look, sound, feel, atmosphere and attitude of the cartoon. The game play and control is challenging and fun. But the most distinguishing aspect of Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions is the fantastic sound of its music. The musical score sounds like what you would hear in a good murder mystery. Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions is a game that fans of Warner Bros. cartoons can go loony over. Pre-owned - Includes Game Only - ESRB Rating KA Kids to Adults - Rarity Rating C - Review by NES Gamer
